In 2023, we celebrate 50 years of the PFA Awards, an annual award voted by the players which recognises the outstanding performances in every division of English Football. The 50th PFA Awards will be held on August 29th, 2023. In the months leading up to the big event, I have led the PFA’s effort to connect with past winners, look back on 50 years of football greatness, and promote this year’s momentous event. Below are are the outputs of months of effort interviewing, producing and editing conversations with previous winners in the men’s and women’s sport.
